Questions

Questions before specifying STAX

Which modules can I order with it?

Available options include PoE++ with multigigabit Ethernet, 1 TB or 2 TB of NVMe storage, and supported 4G or 5G cellular connectivity with GNSS. Compatible combinations, cellular technologies and regional availability should be confirmed when ordering.

What can I use the NVMe module for?

The NVMe module adds 1 TB or 2 TB of local storage for applications such as content caching, application data, logs and supported data-intensive edge workloads. Suitability depends on the application’s storage and performance requirements.

Can STAX connect without a wired uplink?

Yes. Supported configurations can use optional 4G or 5G connectivity, or wireless vMesh through another VeeaHub. Cellular technologies, bands and SIM options vary by module and country.

Where can STAX be mounted?

STAX is designed for indoor operation from 0 °C to 40 °C. The base system supports desk or ceiling placement, with additional mounting options available for selected module configurations and accessories.

How is a fleet of STAX systems managed?

STAX systems are provisioned, configured and monitored through VeeaONE management services, including Veea Control Center and supported VeeaHub Manager functions. Applications and policies can be deployed across STAX and other VeeaHub models from the same management environment.
