For example, 43% of all cyberattacks target small businesses and 60% of SMBs that suffer a cyberattack are forced to shut down permanently within six months due to financial and operational impact. Veea Secure Connect offers a first-of-a-kind AI-enabled Smart Hub solution with either wireline and/or 5G broadband connectivity, together with state-of-the-art cybersecurity for data-at-rest and data-in-motion, with Zero-Touch Provisioning (i.e., very simple installation including the cybersecurity feature), cloud management and easy maintenance. The total cost of ownership for all included capabilities is highly competitive and, ultimately, can deliver Edge AI with accessories such as cameras, smart locks, leak detectors, and others.

For the application of machine learning and AI to much of the enterprise use cases, data needs to be collected, processed and applied at the edge for reasons of data privacy and sovereignty, typical latency in communicating with the cloud, real-time operations with context awareness, resiliency or fault tolerance, improved cybersecurity and other factors.

To bring AI to the edge, Veea has changed the paradigm of centralized cloud computing by extending the cloud to the edge, where people, machines and “things” connect and interact with each other. This is best accomplished by providing for distributed computing, with multiaccess, multi-protocol communications, networking, storage, cybersecurity, AI, blockchain/DAG, and other key technologies that are typically hosted in the cloud.

Our full-stack edge-to-cloud software, capable of running Dockerized applications in our patented Secured DockerTM on Linux and x86 servers, can create heterogenous networks of different vendor products that run on local and wide-area mesh networks. By virtue of enabling a range of third-party products with varying range of capabilities, including those with CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, NPUs and DPUs, a vast array of use cases can be supported at the edge, while the management and orchestration of resources and the edge capabilities is performed by VeeaONE Platform.  We have coined this collective set of capabilities from edge to cloud as “Total Fabric”.

Bringing AI to the Real World

Our mesh networking capability, combined  with our unique network slicing technology to and from wide-area and local area networks and cybersecurity on an end-to-end basis, gives rise to our ability to provide for a computing mesh that enables an application mesh, a microservices mesh and, most uniquely, an Edge AI mesh that multimodal AI agents and Small Language Models (SLMs) that get the benefit of Large  Language Models (LLMs) at the edge. Most importantly, the entire range of devices, applications and services for these edge networks are managed by VeeaCloud, which is a unique capability of our company. This is akin to how smartphones and their applications are managed through the cloud but in a more expansive way than ever before.
