VeeaHubs combine hardware-based device identity, verified startup, signed software, isolated application environments and encrypted communications. VeeaONE adds centralized identity, access, policy and software-lifecycle management across the deployment.

Device identity keys are safeguarded by hardware and hardware debugging is disabled; the root file system requires a signed image; containerized applications and their communication interfaces run in a trusted execution environment secured with digital certificates, validated from the end entity all the way up to the root; dynamic key rotation keeps the keys in use from growing old; and all logins are disabled out of the box, with minimal network exposure behind a firewall.

Questions about deploying these technologies

What continues working during an uplink interruption?

Applications designed to operate locally can continue processing data, enforcing policies and performing local actions during a temporary interruption. Central management and cloud-dependent functions may be unavailable until connectivity returns. The exact behavior depends on the application and deployment configuration.

Will Portable Niagara replace our existing JACEs?

Not necessarily. VeeaHubs running Containerized Portable Niagara can work alongside existing Niagara and JACE environments, adding edge processing, wireless connectivity and remote management without requiring the established building system to be replaced.

What does a vTBA subscriber need at home?

Subscribers connect using their own supported Wi-Fi devices. Dedicated Veea customer-premises equipment is not required in every home, although shared VeeaHub infrastructure must be deployed within coverage of the community or property.

What hardware can run Edge AI?

AI workloads can run on VeeaHubs or other qualified edge systems with the processing, memory and acceleration required by the application. Supported GPU, NPU or TPU resources can be used when a workload requires additional performance.

Can one edge system run more than one capability?

Yes. Multiple compatible applications can share an edge system and its connectivity, compute and management services. The combination that can run together depends on the system’s available resources, interfaces and deployment configuration.

Is cybersecurity part of the platform or a separate product?

VeeaONE and VeeaHubs include foundational security controls such as device identity, verified startup, signed software and application isolation. SecureConnect is an additional managed security solution that requires compatible VeeaHub infrastructure, licensing and configuration.
